theyre old and my design for nearly everyone has changed a bit but
listen, skeleton hugs are important and no one can tell me that sans
isnt perfect for a good squeeze if ur feelin’ down.
Could you imagine Papyrus knowing what’s up like Sans, but just believing in Frisk every time to do the right thing. Whether that means he gets killed or not.

I SWEAR!! i forgot i had to hang out with Undyne and i wanted to have only Papyrus on the phone for a while but then I SAW HIS SAD FACE! and i remembered that he was waiting for me at Undyne’s house the whole time!! D:> how could i?!
Sans’ jokes are the equivalent of those “joke books” you’d read in 5th grade. They’re so clean as to be incredibly lame and there isn’t one edgy or dark thing about them. The fact that they’re lame and groan-worthy and just plain terrible is the POINT.
Papyrus on the other hand…. I… I don’t know if he MEANS to make dark jokes or not… I think he just… says things??? and they unintentionally end up being hilarious but also kinda troubling???
So there’s this scenario that me and @robynred bat around sometimes that we generally call Captured Alphys, where Alphys discovers the brothers, but Gaster catches her before she can tell anyone what she saw. He can’t let her go, but he doesn’t want to hurt her either, so instead he just ends up locking her up with the brothers. She proceeds to give him an extremely hard time about everything he’s doing, haha. And she becomes something like a lizard auntie to the brothers. If you think about it too hard a whole lot of plot problems show up though…
Please don’t get mad at Toby Fox if he does a Gaster reveal and he:
– Doesn’t look the way you expect him to
– Isn’t related to Sans (and/or Papyrus) in the same sense you thought he’d be
– Has a different personality/background/character traits compared to how your favorite fanfic potrays him
Keep in mind that almost NOTHING about him is actually known besides what his followers say about him! Even his supposed “sprite” is never confirmed or denied to actually be him; everyone just collectively assumed that it was. So just try to keep an open mind as to what Gaster’s creator has intended for him from the very beginning! Embrace the things you don’t expect with excitement and new fan theories, not disappointment and anger!
