First Home in the U.S. specifically for sex-trafficked boys is set to open in late 2016. Of course neighbors pulled a stink and tried to get the house shut down before it even opened.

I CANNOT believe how much resistance they’re facing.
People are worried about their property values when these young boys have literally been sold as sex slaves and raped and abused in who knows how many other ways. They just need a safe place to heal and protection while they testify against their abusers so we can put the actual criminals in prison.
And people are worried about them “taking their medicine” like we’re trying to cure them of something. These are trafficking victims. But apparently people are more worried about these boys than they are about making sure the people who abused them go to prison.
Oh man, as soon as I get a little extra money I’ll be donating to this fine cause because this is just fucking great. I hate all the shit they’re getting for it, but shit or no shit I want to support these people.

I love that every few months this post gets another surge of notes, and now is good a time as any to give an update.
In late Fall last year, the area of North Carolina where this house is set to be opened experienced a lot of very bad flooding. This has set them back. They wanted to be open by now, but they have finished restoring the house and are now working on furnishing it so they can open soon.
The link above is broken, so here is an updated one. You can see they now have a registry for Target and Walmart open. If you want to donate by buying items they need to furnish it, you can do so this way.
I’ve developed a sudden partial onset seizure disorder as well as new heart issues. In the last week, alone, I was admitted to the ICU after a night in the ER having back to back seizures for hours. After two nights in the ICU I was sent home on new seizure meds that are very expensive (over $75 for a one month supply) called Keppra. Less than 24 hours after being discharged, I was taken back to the ER via ambulance. My boyfriend called 911 after I had (his count) seven seizures in a row in our bed. I lost control of my bladder, peeing all over myself, as well as vomiting on myself and crying the entire way to the hospital. I have been poked with at least a dozen IVs in the last week, as well as had countless CT scans, ultrasounds, x-rays, EEGs, blood work, EKGs, etc. and the list goes on.
I just got home from my third hospital visit of the week and I had to quit my job, today. 😦
I am a survivor of cervical cancer, stage four endometriosis and PCOS and so far, seven abdominal surgeries to include a hysterectomy leaving only my ovaries behind. I need money to go see a neurologist, rheeumoatoidologist, gastrointestinal doctor, OBGYN/endometriosis specialist and immunologist. I have to have at least one surgery in the next few months to remove my ovaries.

Guys : ( this is my big sister and she is having the worst time of her life. I didn’t go public about it until she did. She desperately needs to see these specialists to find out why she is having these seizures!!! If you could spread this, that would be amazing. We’re all really scared right now.

Since we, the K-Pop community, have a ton of them, I figured it would be cool to run an account to write some nice, detailed, and honest reviews for fanfics!
I know that I, as a fic writer, always love getting input on the things I’ve written, especially when I’m really proud of something, and it isn’t always the easiest thing to get in this community. While you may see your fic on someone’s rec list one day unbeknownst to your knowledge, and sure, maybe you might get a comment or two that says how much someone enjoyed it, I’ve found that most fanfic authors want a little more depth to their audience’s response. There is no Goodreads where an author can check their fic reviews in the K-Pop community, people! Usually, if you even want a review you have to ask friends to read it…Buuuuuut then they’re biased, sometimes they won’t finish it, things come up, and, in the end, you don’t get a good and honest review! As someone who has been writing fanfics for over eight years and has recently become a published author, I think that I’m somewhat qualified enough in the field of English literature to give some non-biased reviews of fics.
Basically, I’m going to upload my personal reviews of K-Pop fanfics! You can send me asks with fics to read and review, ask for recs, or whatever. I’m really just going to be using this account to help people out that might want an author’s opinion on their writing or recommendations of things that I personally have liked or that could use some improvement. It can be really helpful to hear praise and constructive criticism, especially when it’s filled with good intent. (Besides, what does an author love more than hearing what their readers have to say?) Smut, fluff, you name it. Throw me your best.
All fic reviews that I will be writing are public! I will contact the author of the fic after the review is completed and will offer them a link to the finished product so that they can see, read, and have knowledge of its existence!
Fandoms that I’m a part of and thus will probably be able to give better reviews for because of my knowledge of the members and personalities are: NCT, EXO, BTS, GOT7, Seventeen, Stray Kids, Wanna One, Monsta X, and Victon.
