I don’t know the English translation, but it seems to me the MV is about how they couldn’t go back to their personal daily lives and struggled so much and couldn’t do anything. It seemed super personalized. Minho working on acting, Key playing video games, etc. But then as they’re walking toward each other, SHINee World casts their light on them and give them strength to keep going on. Climbing the stairs could be thought of as a stairway to heaven where they are surrounded by SHINee World’s light and singing to a single red rose in a glass container – Jonghyun
Why are kpop stans so touchy about meaningful lyrics? Not everything you say has to be some kind of profound statement. Sometimes you just gotta ring ding dong ring ding dong ring diggy ding diggy ding ding ding. Y’know?

SHINee being open and honest about getting help with their grief and pain and mental health overall. I’m so proud of them for being open with us. talking about it publicly will not only set an example for others but hopefully assist in making conversation the norm. I’m happy they’re not dealing with this by themselves. It’s never a sign of weakness and I’m very proud of them for breaking the stigma surrounding these issues.
