Here’s a history lesson about Robert E. Lee.
1) He was married to George Washinton’s grand daughter.
2)He served with Ulysses Grant during the Mexican American war and became a decorated war hero defending our country.
3) He believed slavery was a great evil. His wife broke the law teaching slaves to read and write.
4)After the Civil War he served with Andrew Johnson’s program of reconstruction.
5) He became very popular with the Northern states and the barracks at West point were named in his honor.
6)He was a patriotic citizen and soldier who served our country his entire life.
7) His memorial is now being called a “blight”.
No American military veteran should be treated this way.Do we really want to emulate ISIS by destroying our historical artifacts?
8) Lee believed that States rights should be more important than the Federal Government. And that is ultimately why he choose to lead the Southern army instead of the Northern.
9) When Lee couldn’t pay his Federal taxes in person because he was serving in the Civil War the Federal Government began burying Union soldiers on his land and they are still doing that today as it is called “Arlington National Cemetary”.
1000s of our fallen soldiers of all political affiliations have been buried on Robert E. LEE’s property which is now a National monument to our fallen veterans. The Arlington Cemetary is also a Robert E. Lee monument.

I was born to a mentally ill teen mother.
I am considered mentally disabled.
I have minor issues because of my condition.
Why does my life not matter?
I was born into an abusive family and nearly ended my life several times. I have PTSD and difficulty adjusting to normal social behavior. I press on and go to therapy and I’m better now, better than I’ve ever been. I’m going to go back to school, learn forensics, go to medical school. Maybe I won’t change much, maybe I won’t change the world, but my time working in a hospital taught me its the little things that mean the biggest to people who are hurting.
I don’t have to prove to anyone that I’m worth something, despite my pain and the difficulties. Fuck everyone who says I’d be better off dead.
I am disabled and mentally ill. I am an abuse survivor.
My life has value. I deserve to live despite my past and disabilities. In fact, I live TO SPITE my past and disabilities.
Every person deserves the right to live.
I was a child of rape. True, violent rape.
So many people would lead my biomom by the hand, drums beating and banners flying, to the abortion mill. Everyone would “””understand”””
but I’d not be. I’d never be. My life, even conceived in evil, has value. If even MY life has value, then all of yours does.
Don’t give up. Believe in the you that I believe in!
I’m so done
Ok. Two things.
1) I’m tired of articles that only talk about numbers instead of actual music. Since BTS release a new album the only thing I have seen is about “new records” again and again. It seems that the ONLY important thing is YouTube views and breaking records. And I’m not just talking about BTS I’m talking about the KPOP in general. I mean, I know is important but isn’t the MOST important. Stop chasing numbers. Seems like the quality of the song is dictated for the number of fans and views than the actual music, the lyrics, the meaning and the feels that they want to transmit. I wish I could see more articles about this instead.
And this goes for all the groups in the current era not just BTS. If a group have more views than other that doesn’t mean that they’re better or worse. There’s a lot of amazing singers and groups so please don’t underestimate them just for the number of views and appreciate the music for what it is.
2) And I’m also tired of the fact that you can’t give you opinion if it’s different from the rest. Because if you do (even if you are respectful) you get insulted.
I’m ARMY. I have seen ARMYs that didn’t like the new album and just because of that, they receive a lot of hate. I can’t get used to it either. I tried. But I couldn’t. I also didn’t like DNA era. But why is that bad?
“If you don’t like their song then you’re not a true fan”
That’s is bullshit.
Being a fan of a group doesn’t mean that you have to love all their songs, all they do. No, it’s not an obligation. It’s fine if a song isn’t your style and you don’t like it. That doesn’t mean that your don’t support them or that you do not love them. It’s just an opinion for God’s sake. RESPECT.
And this applies to all kpop’s groups. If you think that the songs of your fav group are amazing, pure art, or whatever, that’s okay. But if someone have a different opinion, don’t attack them. Don’t try to impose your opinion. Respect them.
