New goddess idea: She’s an earth goddess of the new age who’s domain is spinning and weaving, but specifically spinning and weaving gigantic structural steel cables for construction and other industrial purposes. Her skin is steel grey and hard to the touch and her hair is like long dredlocks of woven steel. She laughs at shitty architecture deigns that will fall apart if actually built and protects well-made bridges and buildings she likes. She might warn you of unforseen danger if you always wear your proper PPE.
Okay now what do I name her

A whole Steven bomb dropped out of nowhere and I could only seem to find clips of it online instead of full episodes. A new character who was introduced was a Garnet. Perfectly split in the middle, with massive hair, wearing all black. She is a sick joke made by White Diamond. Since she didn’t get to see the infamous Garnet fusion she made her own, this Ruby and Sapphire will be shattered if they ever unfuse. For Whites enjoyment only.
I like how she looked like she was dressed for her own funeral.
Uh….Steven Universe OC??? I don’t have many of these tbh ^^;
Whether it happens in canon or not, I love the concept of Steven getting dragged back to Homeworld to fulfill his role as a Diamond and utterly failing at it! And part of Blue and Yellow’s attempt to get him back into being a Diamond is to give him a new, non defective Pearl who’s so committed to Homeworld’s system that she won’t rebel or allow Steven to start a rebellion. Her problem obviously being that she can’t buck the system or her intended purpose but her purpose is to do what her Diamond wants and to make him happy, but he wants her to be her own person…it’s a headache for both of them.
Design wise, I just wanted to have a Pearl with similar hair to Anthy from Revolutionary Girl Utena since there’s plenty of parallels I could draw between Pearls and their purpose and Anthy’s role as the Rose Bride. Pink Pearl’s outfit looks a little too Era 1 for her to be a new gem but the idea was that Blue and Yellow (mostly Blue) wanted to cling to the past essence of Pink Diamond, hence why Pinky here has a similar outfit to PD.
I dunno if I’ll do anything with this character but she was fun to create and I like drawing her so we’ll see 🙂

There were some who were wondering what meme would look like in relation to this post. (I’m sorry if it took a while I was busy working on other stuff)I was watching a youtube video about why Medieval art babies look like old dudes and I was inspired to continue because I thought ‘Wow! I imagine Medieval Art is one of the teachers and he isn’t drawn in anime style but rather in medieval manuscript style XD’
