So the very talented CuriousCucumber drew this absolutely adorable baby here What Wonderful Bottlecap and when I saw it, I pointed out how interesting is that I’ve been painting my large boi Milo, while she’s been doing her small babies. So she suggested a switch, and I thought it was a great idea. I had so much fun with this piece. Her character is absolutely adorable. I love showing scale, large or small. And the background was incredibly fun to work on. Please go check out CuriousCucumber and her Mermay entries!
IT’S FINALLY MERMAY GUYS, AND LET ME ASSURE YOU…I CAN BARELY CONTAIN MYSELF. I made this back in February I was so excited. Be prepared to see lots of work with my Big whale son this month. Here he is swimming with his adoptive whale family, as you do.
I’ve never done a lineless side view before, and this one has its flaws for sure but I think it came out alright. I’ll be doing more with this character soon! I’m doing my best to resist working with him until mermay, but ah well…Enjoy!
Almost forgot to mention, the little fae he is holding is this lil girl Dream Creature , her name is not fae but for now that’s what I’ll call her.
