A sausage
aka, I realized mermay was almost over and I hadn’t drawn anything. here is a chubby baby mer Keith
I’m late for mermay but I finished this anyways because I wanted to be done with it. I had this idea in my head and I needed to do something about it.
So you may or may not notice that these ladies are inspired on the mermaids on Disney’s Peter Pan 🙂 Some more than others, of course, I just wanted to go a few steps further with the designs, otherwise it’d have been just a copy and that’s not what I was going after.

Mermay Day 2: Flowers
What if flowers held a symbol of significance to merfolk?
Giving someone flowers is a symbol of courtship and declaration of love to another, and for years Lance has always longed for the day someone would come along and offer him a beautiful flower. For someone out there, where he would mean the world to that other person. He keeps on hoping and wishing for that day to come soon.
If the original sketch was drawn in May does it still count as being part of Mermay? Asking for a friend.
