exhibit.’ Nothing the Master tries can keep Hope confined to his room
for very long; he always finds a way to get out eventually. As for the
Angel, Hope is the only person with a snowball’s chance in Hell of
coming out of a confrontation with him in one piece. I’ve heard rumors
that Hope was even equal to the Angel in status and power at one point, a
long, long time ago, before the Master came and took possession of the
