So, I went to the Chuncheon Kpop Mega Concert last night, where B.A.P performed alongside other artists.
It was their first performance after Yongguk left. Yes, it hurts to see them as five, but they were still the best.
However, I found something really interesting. Hear me out.
So, they started with Skydive. Interesting since it was the song where Yongguk was missing during the promotion. It was followed by Wake me Up, the song where Yongguk came back for the promotion.
And then, they did 1004, the last song they promoted before the lawsuit, and then Young wild and free, the first song after the lawsuit.
They ended their performance with Carnival, which is also a weird choices since it was the only “happy song” they did. But, if you remember, B.A.P said themselves that this song was made about their feelings when performing together, on tour, meeting fans from all over the world.
I might be wrong, but while all the other artist did their most recent songs, B.A.P choosing to perform those songs, in that order, feels like they tried to tell us a message: Yongguk will comeback, they will all comeback together, and continue making songs and having fun together.
A letter uploaded at dawn with a truly beautiful moon.
First of all, I would like to bow down to say I am sorry for breaking such bad news to many BABYz who have been treasuring and loving B.A.P until now. Everyone’s heart I feel that those hearts are my own heavy responsibility. They are so very big and precious to me. Please think of my feelings like that.
It is hard to explain how big of a strength B.A.P members and BABYz have become to me from debut until now. Looking back, I think I was a young and lacking person, but I feel that I owe a big debt to the members and fans for making me into a big and wonderful artist I will carve my gratitude deep within my heart and will not forget.
Thank you for the excessive love, support and encouragement.
Please continue protecting B.A.P members and the B.A.P that are the most precious to me in the future.
And I am going to continue making music and devoting myself as B.A.P’s leader Bang Yongguk always and wherever. Please look after me.
alternate reality where ts are so desperate to keep b.a.p that b.a.p have an amazing negotiation position and yongguk becomes the new ceo and sorts that mess out
Why don’t people ever mention Zelo and Jongup whenever they mention dancers in kpop, or the other members when it comes to vocals or composing? They had a great impact in bringing the hallyu wave to Europe, won EMAS multiple times, even the Grammys mentioned them, they have amazing music and a diverse discography. Yet no one talks about them, are people afraid that if others start noticing bap they will rise again and break records left and right just like they did when they were monster rookies. Is that what it is? People know how powerful BAP were and are afraid that power could comeback.
Yongguk left TS. Yes. Does that mean B.A.P is over? No. Not at all. Guys, B.A.P has been through so much from the start and they’ve always been a group who had to fight a lot. But they never gave up. They’re not just a group they are family. In and out. So don’t lose hope. Ts has a way of putting things that isn’t telling the whole truth. Every member might leave ts once their contract runs out and “leave” B.A.P so that they can create another group at another company. And since the leader left first it just gives him a bigger chance to get the foundation ready before the others choose to join him. I know it sucks not knowing what is happening but have faith and don’t lose hope. It doesn’t surprise us that they’ve leaving ts. Ts totally shit them all the way. Of course they want out. Of course I don’t know what will happen but I don’t believe this is the end. I really don’t. They all love music. And they all love each other. They have a plan. I’m sure of it.
The first post, the first sentence on my dash this morning was “Yongguk left TS” and honestly? My first thought was “he’s free”.
He’s not leaving his members, that’s not what this is about. It’s about Yongguk escaping abuse and mistreatment. Let’s not sugar coat this. I will never forget TS for all the shit they’ve put their artists and employees through. I honestly couldn’t be happier that Yongguk is free from them, once for all. He’s jumping a sinking ship, and I’m convinced the other members will follow, one by one, as their separate contracts expire, too.
