Whenever he manipulates the weather his eyes turn entirely white.But when he’s angry it gets bad, really bad (I’m talking thunderstorms, lightning, tornados and such).Can create tiny rain clouds in the palms of his hands and loves playing around with them.One time Jimin said he didn’t like summer since it was too hot so Hoseok let it snow and they all had a spontaneous snowball fight in the middle of June

Min Yoongi [Codename: Ignis]
- Power: Pyrokinesis/Fire Manipulation and Control
Can create fire in any kind of environment as long as there is enough oxygen to feed it.Is also able to control the fire and make it harmless for the people he doesn’t want to hurt, but sometimes he loses control.
Discovered his ability when he was very young and managed to keep it a secret, but at some point his father found out and they had a huge fight; his father tried killing him with a broken beer bottle.His childhood home burned down before him with his father inside( his father was an awful person, adult-Yoongi will never be able to forgive himself for killing his own father).Hates his ability since he believes it can only inflict pain and cause suffering.When he is angry he starts burning; first his head and then the rest of his body.
If sarcasm was a person, his name would most definitely be Min Yoongi

Kim Seokjin [Codename: Arui]
- Powers: Plant Manipulation/Control, Healing
Is able to grow any kind of plant anywhere, as long as there is some kind of earthy underground.Lets his plants grow fast, they break through people and concrete roads and he can control their movement as if they were his own extended arms.It used to hurt whenever one of his plants died, but after experiencing the pain for most of his life he got used to it and now barely feels it. Is also able to immensely speed up the healing process of other mutants.His powers were discovered by his older brother when Seokjin was only nine and the older boy immediately told their parents who sent him off to a mutant prison facility.

To the one who thought that oblivion would bring me peace of mind, the moment our eyes met I knew that you too retained your memories. I find it so interesting how differently people see the gods.
Part of it is UPG and such, but also it’s the facets that they show to you.
Like Aphrodite and pink is so common here on Tumblr, but I always see her in sea green and aquamarine, with gold and pearly white on her trim and in her hair. To me, she’s not at all romantic, she’s not even that loving all the time. What she is, is the calm all-encompassing warmth that comes after a particularly bad meltdown, and the fierce, protective look on my best friend’s face as she tells me I’m worth a million of him.
Half of the Athena aesthetics I see focus on libraries and books, glasses perched on noses. So many people focus on her role in your own learning. Spending time researching can be a great offering to her, that’s true, but I feel closest to her when I’m actively teaching someone else, in the moment it clicks for them and you can feel the spark behind their eyes light up. I feel her smiling when my students ask me questions I hadn’t even thought of before.
Hermes is a trickster yes, he’ll mess with you a hundred ways from Sunday if you’re not careful. But he’s also a hand on your shoulder as you cross the street, making sure you’ve looked both ways (which I hadn’t, thank you friend). He’s laughter as you spill your coins everywhere trying to pay for ice cream, and the thrill of mutual understanding through a language barrier.
I’ve always vaguely believed that gods show themselves as what you need the most at the time, but it wasn’t until I started paying attention that I really understood what that really meant.
