Yes I like Kpop

Yes, I like korean pop music.

This doesn’t mean I think korean lyricists are superior or that music never mattered till it hit the streets of Seoul.

I’m not some koreaboo. I don’t wish I was born in Korea. I’m not ignorant to the torturous process trainees go through to achieve success OR that music artists all over the world don’t suffer in their own ways due to their varied circumstances.

I love kpop, I’m not ashamed of that. The performance, the interactive relationship idols maintain. The constant effort, THE DANCING. And idols aren’t just their looks and foreign appeal, they’re fucking talented and deserve to be appreciated.

Music is universal, and like RM always says, it trancends language.

Get over yourself, music deserves to be valued regardless of what language it’s in.
