To be honest, I love all of Hyuk’s ships, so I’d be hard pressed to pick a favorite. They all have their moments.
What can I say about Chasang? From the beginning, it’s been crystal clear that Hakyeon adores Hyuk, and while Hyuk loves to tease Hakyeon, deep down, you know he has a lot of love, and respect, for our Cha leader.
Leo, like Hakyeon, obviously loves Hyuk. The expressions he gets on his face when he looks at Hyuk are priceless. I think Hyuk loves to tease his once “scary” hyung, and the shift in their dynamic over the years makes this a ship that’s so easy to love.
How could someone not love Hyuk and Ken? They are true partners in crime, the real maknaes, and you can just tell that they feed off of each others’ silliness. Separately, I’m sure they cause trouble, but together, their antics must be the stuff of Hakyeon’s nightmares. ❤
Ravi and Hyuk have been roommates forever. It’s a ship that needs a lot more love. In their recent anniversary messages, it was so sweet to learn that Hyuk keeps in touch with Ravi, checking on him when they’re apart, and Hyuk has expressed his love for Ravi many times, including praising Ravi’s talent. Seeing them on vacation in Miami together shows what a strong ship they have.
Hyuk and Hongbin have a mutual admiration society. Hyuk is the brother that Hongbin never had, and, after a rocky start, their relationship is one of the strongest. They can be partners in crime too, especially when it comes to teasing Hakyeon, but there is much more to the true maknae line.

if you ever feel embarrassed by your hobbies/interests…just remember that Han Sanghyuk, veritable triple threat and maknae on top of the kings of concepts, became an idol because he was inspired by justin bieber; came up with the concept for On and On because he’d seen twilight; and literally majored in kpop
