Q: Please introduce yourselves to the Bugs!Family.
All: Bugs!Family!, Found them! Oh My Girl!! Hello. We are Oh My Girl. This is our first time greeting you with our first mini-album [CUPID]~ It’s nice to meet you. 🙂

Q: What does the team name ‘Oh My Girl’ mean?
Hyojung: Our team name Oh My Girl represents our wish to stay in many people’s hearts as ‘My Girl’~ Moving forward we will work hard to gain more love, so please watch over us~! 

Q: There are 8 members, please introduce yourselves individually!
Hyojung: I am the lead vocalist and candy leader Hyojung. Bugs!Family I am really glad to meet you~^^
Jine: I am the team vocal Jine, the team’s mom. Please give Oh My Girl lots of interest~
Mimi: Hello! I am Mimi. I am Oh My Girl’s rapper as well as a vocalist.
Yooa: I am Yooa the vocalist. Nice to meet you. ^^
Seunghee: Hello! I am the lead vocalist Seunghee. 
Jiho: I am vitamin Jiho. I am a vocalist in Oh My Girl. From this point onward I wish to be like a vitamin for many people~
Binnie: Hello! I am the bob-cut vocalist Binnie.
Arin: I am Oh My Girl’s chic maknae Arin. Please love Oh My Girl a lot from now on~

Q: What kind of track is ‘Cupid’? Tell us some points to look out for! 
Seunghee: Our title track ‘Cupid’ is a song that represents the cute love of young girls who call for Cupid’s aid in gaining the heart of the one they like. 
Jiho: That’s right. When you listen to Cupid at the beginning, the “Bbalulalu~” melody really sticks. You can feel Oh My Girl’s unique sweet energy through this track, and we wish for lots of people to like it~
Mimi: Also if you look at Cupid’s choreography there are a few moves that stand out. We call them the leaf-dance, diet-dance, and heart-striking dance. If you look up these point dances our performances will probably become more fun to watch~
Yooa: Also if you listen carefully for our eight members’ unique vocals you will get to know Oh My Girl even more.

Q: Please introduce the non-title tracks of the mini-album! 
Binnie: In addition to our title track ‘CUPID’, our first mini-album contains other tracks that highlight Oh My Girl’s unique sweet charms. The intro song ‘Oh M Girl’ has the same name as our group name, and expresses our first meeting with you in a way is most Oh-My-Girl-like. 
Seunghee: Yes. By Oh-My-Girl-like.. we expressed confidence but also cuteness~ 
Hyojung: I will introduce the second song~ Bugs!Family~ have you ever held hands with a person you loved above the soft sand while listening to the beach waves? 
Arin: *^^* Just thinking about it makes me shy~ If you listen to ‘Hot Summer Nights’ while thinking of what Hyojung Unnie described, you may be able to appreciate its sweetness even more. In addition to this, ‘But I’m Curious’ is a pop-ballad song that expresses the one-sided love of a young girl who picks the flower petals, wondering about the other person’s feelings. So we hope you will listen to our album a lot~ 

Q: If you are to describe ‘Oh My Girl’ with one word? 
Jine: I think of “popcorn”. I think that we are similar to the sweetness and fresh smell of popcorn as it pops here and there. With lots of love and interest that we receive, we hope to strive forward as we give off our unique energy. Also, our members’ bouncy energy and personalities are similar to popcorn~
Binnie: Oh My Girl is a “puzzle”. In order for a puzzle to be complete it requires all of the individual pieces. Similarly the members of Oh My Girl have unique charming points that come together to complete the Oh My Girl puzzle.
Jiho: “Lemonade”! Because we have sweet and sharp charms like lemonade.
Hyojung: When I see my fellow members I think of “marshmellow”. Because of a comforting and sweet feeling. 
Yooa: A “four-leaf clover” is hard to find, but it brings people luck. To me, Oh My Girl is just that, and I want to become a four-leaf clover for people who like us. 
Mimi: “Game”. Once you fall in, it’s hard to get out! 
Seunghee: Oh My Girl is “happiness”. The fact that I met my fellow members is happiness to me. And I want us to become a group who can bring happiness to a lot of people~ 
Arin: “Family”! Oh My Girl is like another family to me! I spend more time with the group than my actual family, but I want to be with them more from now on so I chose the word family!

Q: Are there any memorable events that happened during album preparations? 
Jiho: We all lived in a dorm when we were trainees. Though we were dieting we secretly ordered chicken in the middle of the night. Just then a staff member who lived with us was coming in, and we heard their footsteps in the hallway so we hid the chicken in the washroom.
Jine: That’s right. We laugh about it even now. I remember eating chicken secretly with Jiho in the washroom!
Binnie: Now that I think about it, when we’re on a diet and we sneak food we always get caught. When we were in the recording studio, our manager was outside so I ate biscuits with Arin, but it got caught on camera. Dieting is hard. 

Q: We heard that one of the members is Seunghee! She received attention on ‘StarKing’ as the 11-year-old BoA, and was even called “genius” by Park Jin Young on ‘SuperStarK’. You must feel different now debuting as Oh My Girl~ Tell us how you feel about your debut.
Seunghee: I was 11 years old when I appeared on StarKing, and it’s been 5 years since I went on SuperStarK! With a dream to become a singer I came all the way here, and now I am so happy to be meeting you as a member of Oh My Girl. To reflect the amount of time and effort, I will show you a good side. So please watch over and support me and Oh My Girl. 

Q: Lastly, tell us about your goals with your promotions, and leave something for the fans. 
Hyojung: Through this album’s promotions, we want to spread awareness of Oh My Girl. We will work hard to approach you, so please listen to our music and give us your love~ Thank you!  
Seunghee: Please love Oh My Girl’s debut song Cupid. And to our fans! There will be more opportunities for us to meet from now on so please continue to support us and love us. ^^

Time goes by really fast. It’s already been a month since the ’Listen To My Word (Aing)’ promotions.

Mimi: It was an honour that we could sing Papaya sunbae’s song again. There are still a lot of people that remember their ‘Listen To My Word’, I was worried about who we would become under that reputation. I think we were able to do it in our own way with Oh My Girl’s own colour, and receive love for it.

Arin gives the fans a heart attack every time with ‘aing’ during ‘Listen To My Word (Aing)’.

Arin: I practiced (laughs). I’m embarrassed to show aegyo. Whenever we perform, to do it different ways I always ask Binnie how I should do it.

Binnie: Arin said it’s hard to do cute faces, so I picked ones that I liked; for that time among lots that she didn’t do, we showed you a few that were worthy.

Jiho: Binnie recommends aegyo to the members that will suit each person, she knows us that well.

Hyojung: Binnie collects bad pictures of the members. She finds and watches our pictures and videos, and tells us what expressions are good, what angles pictures look prettier at.

Binnie: The members’ characteristics are different for each person.The members don’t know what expressions we make while on stage, so I find and watch fancams. That way, I can discover members’ expressions that I had never known before, and that’s really fun.
